i put back and front clear protectors on mine and have it in a slip case,not taking any chances.

Tell me about it!! I broke the screen on my iP4... TWICE! Once just about a month before the iP5 was released. Sold my iP4 about a week before getting the iP5. Replaced the screen the day I sold it.

Nope, but I've chipped a sliver out of the screen. Day 2. I was devo'd! Nobody else could notice it, but hey, it's my baby! I can notice it! I've got a gel sleeve on it. It looks so ugly

Nope, phone being cradled by a generic silicone case for now.

Not on the back just a burr on the side and some scratches. Hopefully they will give me a replacement, I'm working on it.

I think if I did have a scratch on the aluminum it wouldn't bother me. Anyway mine is usually in a leather case that clips to my waist.
