Pod2g now has all 5.1 exploits needed and is working on bypassing ASLR

Well I have to ask the obvious unasked question - what's new in 5.1.1?
 
Is it illegal to sell the jailbreaks? I mean if not why wouldn't the guy who has already JB the ipad3 on the newest update release it for a fee, since it seems he will not release anything free?

Just asking because it seems selfish. I mean I know they are the ones putting in all the work but c'mon. Lol

• Fixes an issue where 'Unable to purchase' alert could be displayed after successful purchase

No, it is not illegal to sell a jailbreak. i0n1c won't release it for free because he sells his work to companies and security specialists and by releasing his work for free he loses money. If he charged money for it, it would only be a matter of minutes before it was reuploaded free of charge all over the internet so it would be pointless to charge for it. Even if he did charge for it, he could never charge enough to make as much money as he does selling it to other companies.

Gotcha, now that you have reiterated that I do remember reading it now. Well then those pics he posts are just torture lol.

Yes but make sure you have your 5.1 shsh saved first in case pod2gs jailbreak won't work on 5.1.1

All you have to do us open redsn0w and select a 5.1 ipsw to jailbreak with

Ya I have the blobs saved with TU. So basically if you update you have to redownload all your tweaks and things? So basically everytime a new update comes out you have to download all your stuff each time?
 
Gotcha, just wondering because I've put alot of work into my JB since I JBed, not ready to redo it just yet lol
