What do you mean by "bad?" If you mean illegal, no it's not illegal. If you mean can it harm your device, no it cannot harm your device.

Jailbreaking is not "bad". It's a choice as jmills said. Once you do and actually pay attention to what your doing and don't install every little thing that looms cool...you'll never be able to go stock again.

All it takes is a few precautions and you should enjoy. Check compatibility with tweaks and your device model and iOS. Some packages are device/iOS specific....therefore not everything from Cydia can be installs and may not even be for an iPhone at all.

This is one of the most common mistakes I see...that make some users "think" jailbreaking messed up there phone...when really they just didn't check to see that a package was compatible with there iOS version/model/or check for conflicts with already installed tweaks.

But *every single tweak* in that video is ios 5 compatible and made for an iPhone...but some are made for iPhones only.

Just do a little reading about a tweak before installing and you should be good.
