I'm not sure if I should jailbreak my iPhone 4 or not. I've heard rumors that if you do it wrong then you can brick your iPhone....

Very very slim chance if anything should go wrong you could brick your iPhone I wouldn't worry jailbroken many times not a problem as I'm sure others can vouch on this.

Alright thanks; that was the main worry for me.

its not possible to brick the device from jailbreaks.. just use legit tools and read up about it properly if you ever decide to

This is my first iDevice. I've had it for 1-1/2 weeks. I jailbroke the phone on day 3. It took all of 5 minutes & it was super easy. Much easier than any ANdroid phone I've rooted. I wouldn't worry about it.
