This morning, I got an email from Spectrum offering what seems like much better pricing compared to AT&T. Has anyone here switched over? It looks like Spectrum runs on the Verizon network, but I’ve read data speeds might slow down during high traffic since Spectrum users don’t get priority. Any thoughts?

I'm on Spectrum right now, and I can't say I've noticed a huge drop off from AT&T. Of course, this depends on your area, as in some places I barely get service...

Spectrum mobile sucks. I once went on it on an offer where I wouldn’t have to do anything for a year and it ended up over charging me and messed up my phone. Now I’m on a really good plan with US Cellular.

I have avoided Spectrum’s various offers, but for a different reason. A few days ago they had an outage. While this does not occur frequently, my elderly neighbor had no phone, internet or TV. I am unwilling to risk being without any means of communication. The fact that I had cell service through another provider prevented that from occurring.

My internet service provider is not my cellular carrier. That way I can’t lose both at the same time. That’s also why I still have a landline phone. It will still work during a city wide power failure, unlike cell phones.
