K I read this thing on a site the the iPhone 4 has a chip inside that can tell if you jailbreak your phone that apple can tell even if you did a restore your phone.

Now I was wondering is that true.

LOL, that would be a complete waste of time. Legally if the phone is restored to the correct software they have to honor the warranty. That happens to be Federal Law in the US.

Definitely 100% false. Whoever you heard this from was likely either an Apple employee or someone who is very gullible when it comes to conspiracy theories Aside from installing the iPad baseband on your phone, there is absolutely nothing you can do via software to void your warranty. Your warranty is only temporarily voided while you are jailbroken but if you ever need service all you have to do is restore a factory firmware and they will never know.
