Iphone 4 pairing error itunes

Hello, I was about to jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 but my iPhone wouldn't show up. So I plugged my phone again opened iTunes then the error " iPhone pairing issue". I've fixed it but I want to know if its safe to jailbreak and why it happened.

iPhone pairing issue should be related to a driver issue. If there is indeed an issue, RedSn0w will basically deny your jailbreak and blow you up with errors.

Ok so now since I've fixed it my iPhone shows up in reds now. Cause it wouldn't show before. So I'm safe to jailbreak now ?

Are you a CDMA or a GSM iPhone. Check your PM as I linked you the links and labeled them GSM and CDMA
