Pod2g says his 4s weekend was a failure but he feels that he is really close to a jailbreak on the 4s. Let's keep our fingers crossed

Not until he's got it working on the 4S and iPad2. I would say that the closer we get to 5.1, the more likely it is that he waits until after its release to release the jailbreak.

The exploit is userland not bootrom, it will work on iPad2/iPhone4S, he just needs to port it.

Yup. The main problem he was having was cache related but he already fixed the problem. And made it one step closer
