Tomorrow EI Capitan is released.
I might hold off installing for a day or two while I see if there's any issues.
Who will be installing it?

I'm in the OSX public beta program, I've had it installed since July. I haven't noticed any major issues. In appearance it looks just like Yosemite, no major appearance changes.

No sign of EI Capitan yet in the UK.

It's in the Mac App Store here in Canada.

I'm downloading it now. It'll take a while as the download is 6.08gb in size.

Normally it appears as an Update but this time its in Featured.

It's in Featured because it's not an update to Yosemite, but a new operating system. It worked that way when I updated to Yosemite last year.

I installed El Capitan, Just been checking out the features.
I like being able to delete mail with swipe on the Mac now and I'm loving the Split view feature, I'm using that already.
More features to explore yet.

I like the Pinned Tabs feature in Safari and Spotlight is much improved.
Being able to type into Spotlight for example your last Phone bill or check the weather, Really handy I'm finding.

One of the improvements is to the iOS Notes app, if I remember correctly.

Presumably, there are others as the two operating systems draw ever closer together.

Well I thought I was one of the lucky ones that had no issues after installing El Capitan.
I went into Photos tonight to do some editing, Double clicked for Preview and my photos turned green.
I was 2 hours with Apple support, It had to be escalated.
The advisor is passing it on the the engineers to see if there is going to be an update for Preview.
It seems ok now so fingers crossed.

Anyone else had similar issues?
