Unable to Jailbreak

OK well I think I got some where. OK, like I said earlier, I had used Snowbreeze and was able to make the custom firmwares. However when I went to restore them, I kept getting errors in iTunes like 29 or 1600. So I found the following article at the following link which I did. I was then able to install the custom firmware.
