i have 4.3.1 firmware. i downloaded redsnow. everytime i click on the browse button it goes to my desktop and nothing is there for 4.3.1 i look everywhere for 4.3.1 so i can jailbreak but the only place it shows up is recent places. when i click on it i get an error message. does anyone have any suggestions? i have restored my device twice and still nothing. i am to the point that i am just going to wait until greenpois0n 4.3.1 jailbreak is released. cause from what i hear redsnow freezes alot.

In IT we call this IO error, if u find out what it means ull get ur ego bruised. 
You cant see ipsw file on ur desktop cuz u downloaded iy to some other location. You could use a search future in windows to look for *.ipsw but I'm sure you'd need a lesson on how to search all files and not just indexed locations. So why don't u try this, click on start, then on ur name, then on downloads, if u saved .ipsw it will be there.
