I have a Verizon iPhone that's jailbroken with zero issues. I have a friend with AT&T running 4.3.1 right now. He had his phone JB but then updated, lost JB, tried to re-JB but it screwed up his phone. He reset so he's back to stock 4.3.1.

What would you suggest he do to JB (untethered only please)?

JB on 4.3.1?
JB on 4.3.2?
JB on 4.3.3?

Thanks!

Fresh install iOS using itunes, then use redsnow to jailbreak. Don't forget the compability mode to xp sp3 of redsnow if you are on windows.

If your on 4.3.1 jailbreak with redsnow. There is also an untethered for 4.3.2 also with redsnow. 4.3.3 it tethered for now but should be untethered soon...

Preserving the baseband is only necessary if your worried about unlock. Since your on 4.3.1 already there is no point in preserving your baseband (is it's not unlockable anyway) unless you wish to keep a lower baseband for any future unlock possibilities...
