Screenshots not showing in camera roll

One more problem since my jailbreak earlier today. I tried to take a screenshot for a friend and send it to him. I did exactly has I have many times, the screen flashed and I went to the Camera Roll to find the shot and email it - it's not there. I did it a couple more times, still no screenshot...

Any ideas?

Do a fresh restore, setup as new iPhone, jailbreak and try again

Try a hard reboot hold the power button and home button down at same time until you see the apple logo.


If that fails then a restore setup as a new phone maybe the only other option and rejailbreak.

Did you install an tweaks or apps that may have contributed to this occuring?
Did you make and setting adjustments in any tweaks or apps

If so then either remove the tweak/app or check your settings.

Ok, I'll go ahead and give it a shot...no, I didn't do anything that should have had any effect on this. No other app/tweaks than noted in the other thread you helped me with - I've just done the hard reboot and nothing -

I'm not sure how it happens but the same thing happened to my friends phone. Even the pictures I took with the camera weren't showing up. I tried everything to fix it but couldn't get it to work but it worked fine after a fresh restore.

Ok, this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I kept getting these error codes that tended to make me believe it was a setting on that laptop, so I tried it with another laptop...little beefier. The iPhone was in DFU mode, and it seemed to be going fine, started to reboot and I heard all the expected noises of connections....then it gave me another error code - 1643. I looked at the screen and it's fine, I have new emails and I'm still jailbroken. I still can't do a screen shot, but at this point, I couldn't give a rat's furry rear end...

I'd like to give it a try again tomorrow, but does ANYONE have any clue as to what is going on here?

I could really use some help here. I tried to restore this thing today and now I have a phone that won't restore and won't work. I keep getting the same errors 1601 and 1602 - I've moved the usb to different ports, uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, tried different cables and still won't restore.

I've got the phone in DFU just sitting here trying to think what to do next - I've followed the instructions in the Tutorial on how to restore, but it's not working...

Make sure you aren't blocking apple's servers in your HOSTS file, restore in DFU mode and shift+restore a downloaded firmware file.

I've done both, and just tried again - error 1601...
