I have a iPhone 3GS and it has been acting weird for awhile.
My phone was perfectly fine when I got it but as time goes by things are deteriorating, Cell and Wifi signal getting low (Edge signal when others are getting 3-4 bars of 3G, and one/two bars of Wifi when standing right next to the router), phone dying at 50-60 percent charge, buzzing in the earpiece when talking. Could it be the battery doing all this?
