trying to jailbreak ip4 when the jailbreak program is trying to run itunes says i need to restore this phone before using itunes. iv backed up the phone numerous times and still getting the same error

ignore the restore cycle, and just follow the instructions, i think its telling you to restore because in order to jailbreak you need to be in DFU mode, unless youre on 4.0.1 or something but i doubt that. so just follow the regular instructions
