iOS 5.0 untethered jailbreak

I have an iPhone 3GS still running iOS 5.0 and new boot rom, can someone please confirm whether or not there is an untethered break for 5.0? I know there is one for 5.0.1 but what about 5.0?
I am currently familiar with red snow.

Good to go Untethered w/ redsn0w. iOS 5.1 is the only 5.x.x version that's Tethered.

Ok thanks, you are confirming I can use reds now to break 5.0 untethered even with the new boot rom?
Do I have to use a specific release of red snow or just use the latest?

Boot rom only applies for Downgrading your iOS. Only the device and the iOS matters for a jailbreak. You can use any version of RedSn0w dating back to the initial release of iOS 5.0 untethered. Even the most updated one will support it
