Downgrading to 4.2.8 question

I upgraded to 4.2.10 and lost my jailbreak, my question is if i downgrade to a saved 4.2.8 ipsw am i going to lose the contacts and anything else that i saved after i jailbroke my phone the first time? if so is there any way around this? Thanks to anyone who responds...

Do you have your shsh blobs bc you won't be able to downgrade without them.
