I clean mine every morning with my damp towel from the shower. Mine needs cleaned offer due to work. And, I clean it and the case with Zagg Foam twice a week to keep it sanitized.

My wife's 4s gets Zagg Foam everyday after she gets off work, she works at a hospital and is a trauma/infectious disease certified RN. She is around nasty stuff all day and so is her phone.

I remove mine from it's case and PM, (Preventive Maintenance) on my phone and case once a week, and I clean the outside the case three times a week. I am very particular about keeping everything I own clean.

I use the Monster Cleantouch kit on my 4S about two or three times a week.

1. It removes microbes that just using a damp cloth won't do
2. It won't remove the oleo phobic coating from Apple.
3. It leaves it's own smudge resistant coating.

I got it at RadioShack for about $12.

Zagg foam does the same, but the price is higher, and it doesn't leave a smudge resistant film that I recall. I will be checking that out, thanks!
