I just updated my Verizon iPhone 4 to 4.2.10 and fear i may have screwed myself out of being able to jb it. Is there any way possible that I can downgrade it to 4.2.9 or something by restoring it from iTunes or what I'm new at this and if this has already been answered please direct me to the answer. Thanks

Hello,

Not unless you backed up your SHSH blobs using one of the many tools such as TinyUmbrella or iSHSHit.

If you didn't backup your SHSH blobs then you cannot do downgrade.

It's always best to back your SHSH blobs up as soon as you JB the current version of iOS on your phone.

Thanks but unfortunately I didn't so I guess I'm screwed until they come up with a jb for 4.2.10. PM me if anyone finds a jb or some other way.

--Btw is it possible to take someone elses SHSH blob and edit the blob info to trick the phone into thinking it is it's own??

The SHSH blobs are unique to your device. You cant use anyone elses. There is no way to downgrade without your own blobs.
