Hello,
I have not tried this yet - but can anyone confirm that this is or is not a fake?

This guy has posted two tutorials in the past 48 hours...second one is the above.
The comments, from both videos, have people who mostly want better instructions... however there is the odd few who say that they have success.
From what I gather, you have to outright uninstall itunes and delete all items of it from your registry. Then you have to install a fresh new itunes install. Then restore iphone back to factory. After that, you custom patch redsnow and then run redsnow and install 5.01... With that, I believe your done.
It seems the crucial step, which everyone might be missing in his comments box, is to completely remove itunes and all its registry pieces.
Has anyone brave tested this critically?
