4s stuck on boot up

Hi all
May I say thanks in advance !
I'm looking for some help :-(
A friend wanted to sell her 4s and thought she'd wipe the phone but her son said press restore ......... No just have boot up screen with logo ! Any ideas how to get it back to life ???

Hi yeah I've tried that it gets so far and says please respond to your phone to continue :-( but still have logo !

Are you trying to do this on a trusted computer? Was the iPhone connected to the computer before?

It's never been connected to my laptop but I did click trust this computer !

As far as I know you have to confirm this on the iPhone.

Ah ha yes I've had to do it on all my iPhones ! I guess there is no way as can't get past logo :-(

Try resetting it: press and hold Home and Power button at the same time until you see the Apple logo again, let go of both buttons, and it should power up on it's own, if it reacts.

It works for any iPhone, jailbroken or not.

it wont allow my to DL TU says no jvm file

Make sure Windows is up to date.
Scan the computer for malware/viruses.

If Java isn't installed, download and install it.
