Weird codes running across top of screen.

i bought an iphone 5 today, he stated it had this issue.

it has codes running across the top of the screen. i tried to restore normal, and in dfu mode.

neither work, it starts to extract software, then phone restarts and itunes says waiting for iphone. at that point the codes start back up! thats all it will do.


any advice at all? ive never seen this before!

Certainly a mystery. I don't think anyone has ever seen this before. I would recommend taking it to Apple before hard resetting it because it seems like a software problem, so they may get this set changed, so you may not have any problems later.

Are you sure that is an authentic iphone what is that second hole to the left of the speaker?

lol yes.. that is the proximity sensor... the phone had water damage. i got it swapped out for the $279

Was the damage done because of you? If it wasn't, you can say Apple cheated you.
