Will the iPhone 5 ever support Voice Over LTE allowing simultaneous voice and data connections?

Verizon has to update the towers first and that isn't slated till late 2013 last I read. And it is technically possible for the iPhone 5, with a software update, to do VoLTE.

Does it have anything to do with of Apple making the 4G LTE SIM cards? Cause Android devices can do voice and data simultaneously.

VZW Android LTE phones have two antennas. One for data over LTE and one for voice over 3G.

The iPhone 5 has two antennas as well. But one is dedicated to GSM frequencies and the other is dedicated to CDMA frequencies. There is no physical way to install a third antenna in the iPhone 5 unfortunately, which is why VZW iPhones don't have simultaneous voice and data yet.
