untethered 4.2.9

i just updated my phone from 4.2.6 to 4.2.9 (verizon) and i can't seem to find a link for an UNtethered jailbreak. any solution? or is there not an untethered jailbreak out yet for this version?

by the way.... updating deleted my 4.2.6 jailbreak but my keyboard when texting still has a red background (which i got from cydia, obviously because apple is stuck up about customization). glitch maybe? it's no big deal, i like it, i just wonder why it didn't delete also.

Did you perform a clean iOS upgrade using iTunes? If yes, then those files shouldn't be there. There is no untether jailbreak at the moment for that iOS.

i assume it was clean, i did do it through itunes.

how long do you imagine it'll take before one comes out?

What comes out? Untether jailbreak for iOS 4.3.4??? I think it will never exist.

well ios 5 is right around the corner so it really makes no sense for devs to release an un tethered jailbreak for either 4.3.4 or 4.2.9 only for it to be closed up by the time ios 5 is released.
