Tumblr has released a major update of its iOS app, including support for the advanced features of the iPhone 6s. The app now lets users upload and view animated Live Photos, a feature much expected by its users.
One of the 3D Touch commands involves pressing down on images with the Live Photos icon, which will trigger embedded animation and audio. You can also make use of other 3D Touch functions such as quick search access via the app's homescreen icon.
Messaging is now available to all Tumblr users by default and allows threaded conversations, as well. Furthermore, users can message a post to any Tumblr account.
The app is a free download and in order to make use of Live Photos and 3D Touch, you need an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus. Go ahead and follow the link from below to download the most recent 5.0 version.
