Snapchat Update Adds 3D Touch Support, Slow and Fast-Mo, and New Filters

Ever since the release of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, developers have been trying to figure out ways to implement the new 3D Touch feature. While some apps have already been updated with 3D Touch support, the majority are still lagging behind.

Popular self-destructing photo and video service Snapchat updated its app on Wednesday. The new update includes support for 3D Touch, adding some quick shortcuts from the Homescreen icon. Coming along with the new 3D Touch features, Snapchat added some new filters, slow-motion and fast-motion for videos.

To add the new video features, users will first need to record a video then apply slow or fast motion. The new Snapchat update is now available to download in the iTunes App Store.
