Stuck in headphone mode after saltwater immersion

My iPhone 4 sat on beach as tide washed over it. Sat under a foot of saltwater for 20-40 minutes. All still works cept telephone have to use speaker and iPod stuck in headphone mode. Still works with Alpine too. Can I get headphone mode unstuck so speaker works again?

You're lucky it's working at all. 5 mins in water usually KO's a phone.

I feel blessed. But did it switch to headphone mode cuz speaker now bad or did some microscopic sea creature get stuck in my headphone jack? Any work around to reset this? That's what I need to know. Tx.

The situation has resolved itself. The speakers and everything is now working after i4 being washed by the tide for 20 minutes plus sitting under a foot of saltwater for another 20 minutes. My iPhone 4 now has full functions again.

Excellent news. Maybe the iPhone 4 are sea proof, and Apple never told us!
