Hi,

I currently have a iPhone 3GS on 3.1.3 Baseband 05.11.01 & wish to upgrade to 4.3.2 using sn0wbreeze,

But i keep getting error 3194 from itunes while verifying with Apple,

I have tried with/without modded hosts also tried TinyUmbrella but still no luck,

Any help would be great,\

Lee

4.3.3 is the latest version so thats why it is not letting you... as you would need shsh blobs to upgrade to 4.3.2

Hi,

Thanks for the reply,

I have just tried to upgrade to 4.3.3 via sn0wbreeze and now i get error 11 which i understand means that iTunes detects that i am preserving my baseband,

i need this as i need a carrier unlock...

any help would be great
thanks

Did you get your phone into DFU?

Did you create a 4.3.2 custom firmware? Or 4.3.3...?

Hi,

yes I got my phone into DFU

also created custom 4.3.2 but got error 3194

then done 4.3.3 and got error 11 which I googled and says bbfw folder missing

thanks

So you downloaded the 4.3.3 firmware and created a custom ipsw from that?

Have you tried a restore to your 4.3.3 custom ipsw...?

Hi,

yes I've tried restoring with custom 4,3.3 and still I get error 11

It would more than likely work without trying to reserve baseband but I need my iPhone carrier unlocked,

also tried to rebuild the custom firmware but still no luck...

If this helps when building the firmware I got a "ipwntool.exe problem initializing, click ok to terminate" on the ram section but when i click ok sn0wbreeze continues and build

thanks

Hi,

I have got version 2.7.1 which I think is the latest version...

Thanks for your help so far :)

Hi,

I downloaded sn0wbreeze from ih8snow

it has version 2.7.1 as the latest,

Sorry if I misread the question

Thanks
lee

Hi,

I still get error 11,

I tried baseband preservation only

I have SHSH's saved in TinyUmbrella for 4.3 would that help trying to restore to that version using the TSS server?

Thanks
lee

You could always give it a try.

Do you have access to another computer to try? Or try another USB cable? Both are sometimes known to fix random error codes...
