No sim installed notification

I keep getting this msg and have to either reboot or turn off the phone to get it to work. What could be causing this

Already did that. Am almost ready to rstoe and send to apple. Can they tell whether or not it has been jailbroken? The problem started before I jailbroke it

yes they can tell, best thing to do if you decide to send it back is to restore..

but i had the same problem and using another sim fixed it for me.. try go into the carrier settings let it load

I think I fixed it by putting a piece of tape on the back of it
