no sim

Hi, my iphone 4 was on the cradle in my car window, when the whole lot fell off and now it's saying I have no sim on the phone. My husband has removed the sim and re-installed it and has tried rebooting the phone but nothing is working.....HELP me please

Is it a factory unlocked or locked iPhone? If it's a factory locked iPhone, how did you unlocked it before?

How did your husband reboot? Tell him to hard reset. with the sim out and try to do it again.

He took the sim out of my phone, put it in his phone and it still didn't work, which leads us to believe the sim is faulty, have emailed Orange to request a new sim
