New Iphone Software issue

Hi,

I do like my iphone 4. but...

Now, I cannot select sounds to turn on or off. Before going to sleep, I used to turn off New Mail and New Message alerts but keep the phone ringer on. Now, I can't. It's all sounds on or off.

If Apple wants to do it right, they would make a customizable Sleep Mode, Meeting Mode and Other Mode just like the Blackberry has.

Go into "Settings - Sounds - New Mail", and tap the button that says "None" towards the top of the page, that should take care of New Mail, then go to "Settings - Messages", and turn "Messages" Off, for the night. Just remember to turn everything back On, in the morning. If your Jailbroken, use SBSettings and SBScheduler and you can set your iPhone up to turn off or on most anything you want, on a schedule you setup. Considering all the complaints about battery life, Apple needs to come up with something like SBScheduler, it would save a huge amount of battery life, in addition to pleasing a lot of customers on a schedule.
