A week or 2 later it fixed itself but I woke up one morning and BOOM back to being messed up!!!!! I'm really frustrated and its not under apple care anymore and restoring, resetting, holding the home and power button, ALL those methods did NOT work. Can someone PLEASE help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U might have to get the touch screen replaced. That's probably why he sold it. Apple shop could repair it at a cost

Yup. Have to get the screen replaced, no doubt about that.

DO NOT go cheap. Spend the extra money, get the good parts, or you'll just have to keep buying screens.

Also, you have to buy the glass LCD screen+Digitizer.

You cannot replace just the screen. You must buy them fused together. If someone tries to sell you a screen separate from the digitizer then they are simply trying to scam you.

It's definitely a faulty digitizer. It's likely that the previous owner had the screen replaced with a poor quality part, which is why it's now developed a fault. You have two options - replace it yourself using an eBay part (but watch out for poor quality parts), or send it in to an iPhone repair specialist who will be able to install a genuine Apple screen for you.

He's got more options then 2.lol.

S-W Box is where he should buy the screen.

I highly recommend that "nobody" buys any iPhone parts from eBay period. Amazon is way better then eBay for stuff like that.

For good quality authentic OEM iPhone parts for a great low price I recommend the S-W Box website.

I could not have said this better myself! When buying cell phone replacement parts (especially iPhone,) you truly do get what you pay for. Spending a little extra at first is well worth it in the long-run.

Also, you may see articles of people who have successfully separated the LCD from the digitizer; but I highly recommend against this. Even if you do successfully separate them, the LCD will be scratched, scuffed, marked, and may even be broken. The LCD in an iPhone is super fragile, and the slightest bit of pressure can render a screen useless.
