Hungry Shark Part 3 Out Now, and Part 2 is Free for a Day!

The third instalment in the popular Hungry Shark series has just hit the App Store for iPhone and iPod touch, and to celebrate, the Hungry Shark Part 2 is currently free to download for a day. The Hungry Shark series has attracted over 10 million players since it was first launched in April 2010, and supports the latest iPhone technology, including Game Center Achievements and Leaderboards and Retina Display.

Part 3 is even bigger and better than the first two instalments, featuring an underwater volcano, complete with an evil geniuses’ secret lair, enemy sharks, massive oil rigs, underwater oil slicks, shark finners, the mythical Kempy Bass (whatever that is!) and more than 20 other new creature types to chow down on. Here’s Chris Dawson, developer Future Games of London’s Creative Director, talking about the latest instalment in the gory fish-'em-up.

"We believe this is the most exciting and incident filled version of Hungry Shark so far. Part 3's epic level is divided into 3 distinct zones, each offering their own dangers and challenges. You'll go from grabbing people off the beach to taking revenge on shark finners, and even do battle with a crazy evil genus in his volcano based secret lair."
