The latest firmware
... They said that 5.0.1 would be the golden firmware, but i dont think that saurik would stop just at 5.0.1 -c-, anyways here i got the solution for you if you want to jailbreak!!
First Open greenpois0n's site www.greenpois0n.com www.greenpois0n.com
And download absinthe for 5.1.1, choose compatible OS, 5.1.1 Downloads can be located at near the TR of the page.
Then make sure you have backed up your iDevice
Now make sure your iDevice is PassCode-FREE, i mean that you dont have an unlock passcode, if you do just remove it in [Settings/General/Passcode]
Then just delete everything on your iDevice using the factory restore located in settings(since you have backed up your device)( btw you dont NEED to do that step but its recommended for faster jailbreaking
Now open the absinthe( i had problems opening it in linux but i dunno about the others, just noting) connect your iDevice and click the magical [jailbreak] button, it may take time depending on data on your device
Last step:- now open your iDevice, and if you need to restore from the iCloud backup, DONT TOUCH THE {RESET ALL SETTINGS AND DATA} Button, its the most dangerous button here!!, what i used to restore from iCloud is:- i have tapped the {Reset all settings} and then did it again, so if the iCloud restore setting didnt show up at the first time after you reset all settings, just try again, doing it twice would work
CONGRATULATIONS!!, now your iDevice is jailbroken... ENJOY!!
