Help Restoring Iphone 4 Verizon

Hey I jailbroke my iphone 4 4.2.6(Verizon) with greenpoision and now if i try to restore it or sync it I get error messages, any ideas.... Thanks alot!

the firs one is, iTunes cannot read the contents of the iphone "my name" Go to the Summary tab and restore it.
That is when i plug it in.
then when i go restore it, it loads almost fully and extracts the and Verifies and starts to load in the iphone and computer and then says,
The phone, iPhone could not be restored and unknown error occurred.

what happen when you connect it to itunes? itunes should be able to find the phone in recovery mode and restore it.

Try editing your hosts file,

Go to C:Windows/System32/drivers/etc and open the hosts file with notepad. Remove or add this on a new line if it's not there.

iTunes must be closed when adding the line. Make sure you press save and then close the window. Some people may also need to reboot their computer...
