nope its because of the baseband, the firmware am on does not support iphone's baseband

Do you mean the carrier your on does not support the baseband? If it's factory unlocked then it shouldn't make a difference. Have you contacted your carrier?

Unfortunately there is no way to downgrade the baseband...

his phone ended up being in recovery mode.. his factory unlocked device..
