Google Map app

Well, google recently released their YT app since Apple removed their native one from iOS 6. Now users would choose the app rather than using browser. I don't see why, following the same logic, Google should risk being taken as punishing iPhone users and not releasing a Maps app too. I am personally expecting the Maps app to be announced by Google in the near future.

That said, despite Apple flexing their muscles at Google with yesterday's event

Google will probably be slow at developing an iOS app as it is likely a reason for people to purchase android phones like the Galaxy S3.
