Failing to restore, need help

Jailbroken with limerain and trying to restore but it's giving error code 1004. What is that mean and how can I restore? It's in recovery mode. Also, if somehow I need to take it to apple, will they know if it was jailbroken? Thans

Use tinyumbrella and kick out of recovery mode. You will be good to go. As long as you restore like you did, no they don't know.
