Can't connect to FB or Twitter

My brother just got the 4S and I helped him set it up and activate it. Everything was working fine while he was here,but when he got home,he started having some problems. He can't connect to FB or Twitter and the network activity icon just keeps spinning at the top of the screen. I also just tried to use Face Time with him and that wouldn't connect either. He said he got the 5.0.1 OTA update yesterday and he installed it. He said if he reboots the phone, it works for a little while but then it goes back to the icon just spinning and he can't connect to anything. FB seems to be the most problematic. Anyone know what this could be?

I had a similar problem. look at the thread titled "hotmail and Facebook issues"in this forum. It worked for me. I believe I had to turn WiFi off and reboot the phone.
