Why does google choose the names of snacks for their firmware?

Lol. I just don't get it. Next thing you know they'll come out with Leather Couch. Crazy, I love how apple keeps it simple and I'm not trying downplay android but the names are killing. I left android aound the donut times.

For Apple i would say only one thing "It just works!!!" . With Apple it does wonders !! I have no words for the rest of the ppl !!!
