Battery % won't hit 100%

Hi. I got an international phone from HK. Recently, I haven't had this problem, but just today my battery % keeps saying 99%. I charged it like 5 hours straight and it won't hit 100%. Today is a first. Any insight?

Firmware 4.3.2

Allow it to run the battery down till the phone shuts down, then recharge fully. This is supposed to reset the battery meter, so it will read correctly.

Yes it's just a matter of reading the %, a simple hard reset can also cure that misreading of the battery level.
