ok so I charged my phone 100% at 4:20 pm used it a little for texting all the way through about 11:45 pm and was at 20% what's the deal with that I saw that there might be a update to ios 5.0.1 ? rumor or truth

5.0.1 is currently being beta tested by developers. I have 5.0.1b2 on my iPhone4S at the moment and battery life is better...

More in line with my expectations...

I purchased the Battery Boost Magic app and now when i charge it will only charge to 96 or 97 % not 100. This happens even when i am not running battery boost. When i plug into my computer it will charge to 100. I dont get it. Could my wall charger be messed up or more likely something in the phone or program that has caused an error? Has anyone else had this problem of not full charge on a whole night of charging?

I charged mine over night and unplugged it and it instantly went down to 93%, Ive taken mine back today and they gave me a new one which will arrive in 4-5 days as non in stock, it also overheated and blew the wifi :-(

This has been discussed many times in numerous threads only takes a few mins to look them up and see what ppl have said about the problems and there fixes for these problems. As for turning of location services you will only know if this helps your situation by actually doing it. I say this cuz it might not be the phones software might just be something wrong with your battery

Also its not the turning off of the locations services its turning of certain parts of the location services like setting time zone or location based apps etc...
