apps drop, iphone goes to home page

I have a 3gs with OS4.3.5; When I am running safari, Facebook, or other apps, they work for a while and then my iphone just goes back to home page.This usually happens when changing pages, pictures, etc. I can restart the app and it may work 1 minute or 30 minutes or in between. How can I get these apps to work properly?

Do a hard reset. If error persist, then try to remove any newly installed app, you can know what is your most recent installed app by going to the app store> update. If that doesn't solve the issue then factory restore the phone.
