I am looking to upgrade my phone and I am planning on making the switch from Android to iPhone. I have been doing my research about the iPhone 13 and I came across the Optimized Battery Charging feature. My understanding of it is that the phone will learn your routine and regulate the charge cycle to have your phone charge to 100% just before you would unplug it so as to eliminate the damage to the battery brought on by constant over charging.
I was wondering if anyone knows exactly how that process works and/or if anyone has experienced negative aspects of that feature (one thing I can imagine is if you don't have a regular routine and need your phone at 100% one day and it is not fully charged yet).
