Apple care- Color plate replacement question

I found these really cool color swap face and back panels for my iphone. I know that if you tamper with an iphone that is under apple care the apple care becomes null and void. What I was wondering was would the changing the color cancel my apple care plan??

Put the original panels back on before taking it in and even then it might not be enough if you left any marks that you had the phone apart to begin with.

i did the swap. from the white to red. dont do it yourself!!!!! unless you've done your own cracked screen replacement. its the same porcess, i did it and now my iphone is freexing and the calling output doesnt work. meaning i cant hear anything no rings and no voice. if anyone has any advise other than next time dont mess with it, or take it to apple bc i know they'll just turn me down. i'd really appreciate it. thanks
