Yet More iPhone 5 Case Images Emerge, Point to Redesign

[FONT=&quot]Normally when it’s this close to the release of a new iPhone or iPad, there’s usually a lot more uniformity about the case leaks and other leaks, but this time around it seems as if some case manufacturers are barking up the wrong tree, as there still seem to be some very different designs surfacing, some of which indicate that the next iPhone will be very similar to the iPhone 4, whereas others indicate quite the contrary. Today’s case leak, as featured on BGR, is a case in point (sorry!). The pictures surfaced on the Case-Mate website today, and although they were subsequently pulled down by Case-Mate (leading one to think that maybe they are a little too close for comfort for Apple’s liking), BGR still has the pictures up so we can get a good look at them. As you can see from the photos, the case shows a slimmer phone design with tapered edges, and possibly an aluminum back. The elongated volume buttons that have also been rumored recently are very much in evidence here too. [/FONT]
