Hey guys!

New to the forums, but I have a question, for some reason upon attempting to install winterboard I am prompted with a message saying something about preferenceloader and libhide necessary to install. I can't seem to find these items in the search function to install them :/
Any ideas boys and girls?

Many thanks,
Djordje

They should install automatically actually....regardless if User preference was User or Developer.

The reason why it shows you need them instead of installing them automatically is because your sources were not fully loaded....and they weren't in Cydia at all.

Ok I'm set to developer, but still cannot locate the files, and way around this? Or what should i do to fix this issue?

If you're set to developer and you still cannot see those packages then it's like Zig said, you need to refresh the changes so that the entire repo is loaded.

Ok so I had hsum error or something like that when downloading both the files.... :( why my phone no like me

So now a bigger issue has arisen, I installed locklauncher, have me an error message, now the phone will not exit safe mode, I'm stuck in it...... Help??? :(

I can't install anything. I keep getting hash sum mismatch and internal server error

I'm trying to locate the last thing I installed right before it crashed into safe mode but I cannot locate the damn file, any tips on quick searching somehow

So you have no idea what the last thing you installed is?lol.

Have you tries looking at crash reports to see if you see any familiar tweak names.

It's wise to have Syslog installed from Cydia, and look at it directly after you enter safe mode for any reason. It provides very useful information...even for standard users.

I've fixed everything and worked it out, thank you all for the assistance, il how syslog a look for future purposes! :)
