Hey All,
This is my first post and I've been poking around and finding some of the answers to my questions but wanted to get some input in a more specific manner.
I have a Sprint iPhone 4s that has been unlocked by Sprint at my request for international travel. Here are my questions:
1. Do I need to further unlock it with Gevey Sim Ultra (or some other method)?
2. Once it's unlocked, is there any way to take it to a different carrier, say Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile? Our contract with Sprint has expired and we'd like to get to a cheaper pay as you go program but I'm not sure if that's even possible.
I'm running Modem Firmware 2.0.12.
My wife has a Sprint iPhone 4 that has not been (or couldn't be) unlocked by Sprint. Here are my questions:
1. Can this phone be unlocked using some non-sim method allowing it to be brought to another carrier.
I'm not sure what Modem Firmware my wife is running.
Any help would be supremely helpful as we try and figure out wether to stay with the cheaper contract or find a new carrier via unlocking.
