Waze Adds 3D Touch Features in Version 4.0.1

In October, we saw popular social navigation app Waze received a complete revamp to its user interface. Along with the revamp, Waze version 4.0 reduced battery consumption and made it easier for folks to navigate within the app.

Last month's update changed Waze dramatically. On Monday, Waze updated to version 4.0.1, bringing support for 3D Touch on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. 3D Touch support for Waze brings quick shortcuts to the Home screen icon.

Waze shortcuts include: 'Drive Home', 'Drive to Work', 'Send My Location' and 'Search Address'. All of the aforementioned choices can be access swiftly on the homescreen and configured within the app.

Google's Waze is a free app that is available in the iTunes App Store.
