One of the most popular apps on iOS has been lacking 3D Touch support since the feature's debut last year. Google's YouTube app receives very frequent updates, however 3D Touch feature were never to be seen.

Just a few days before the release of the iPhone 7, YouTube has finally been update to version 11.35 with a few handy 3D Touch features. After logging in to YouTube within the, app iPhone 6S users can now use Home screen shortcuts to jump to: Search, Subscriptions, or Create.

Search will take users directly to the search bar, as you may have guessed. Subscriptions will allow users to quickly see the channels they follow. Finally, Create will launch the app directly in camera mode, so that users can begin shooting immediately.

The aforementioned features are great for folks who have grown accustomed to using Home screen shortcut. Now if we can get Google to implement some Peek and Pop options, that would be great.
